His Story
Jack was born with a congenital heart defect that required three open-heart surgeries before he turned four years old. His care was handled mostly at Duke University Hospital, and for several years his family's focus was simply on his health and recovery.
Over time, his condition stabilized. He grew stronger, stayed active, and was eventually cleared without restrictions. Today, he has no medical limitations and competes fully cleared.
Racing is something Jack loves. It is also one of the ways he can use his platform for something larger than himself.
During the 2026 season, Jack will help raise awareness for the American Heart Association and the work it does to support children and adults living with heart conditions. The organization plays a major role in research, education, and patient support across the country.
3 Open Heart Surgeries
Jack had a series of 3 open heart surgeries to correct a congenital defect. One at 6 days old, 6 months old and 3 1/2 years old.
No Limitations
A decade has passed since his last surgery. Today he's a healthy teenager, cleared to race cars… and ready to win.
Bigger Purpose
In 2026, Jack will help raise awareness for the American Heart Association and its work supporting those with heart conditions.
