Bull Bash Championship — A Season-Opening Title

Last Saturday was the final race of the Bull Bash Series at Wake County Speedway. First off, I want to thank everyone at Wake County Speedway for putting together such a great event. The weather was perfect, and it was awesome to see more cars out there competing in the Outlaw class. I felt really good going into the races. Practice and qualifying went well, and I was running some of my best times of the year. Each week I feel like I'm getting a little faster and more comfortable in the car. Once the racing started, it got pretty intense. There were a few crashes early on, and it was tough seeing some good cars get taken out. Jackson Jones from Redhead Racing was really fast all day and put down some strong laps. I gave it everything I had but couldn't quite catch him, and I ended up finishing second in the first race. In the final race, I was in a good position again and on my way to another second-place finish when I spun out. That one was frustrating. I felt like I had a really solid run going. Even with that, I was able to earn enough points from the previous races to win the 2nd Annual Bull Bash Bandolero Outlaw Championship. That meant a lot to me, especially after how hard everyone has been working each week. It was also really cool having Noah Evans there to celebrate. He won the championship last year, so that made it even more special. We're just getting started, and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.
